In Chapter 8 of the Lankavatara Sutra, in which Mahamati asks the Buddha what is the best way to make people understand the need not to eat meat, it is said that “in this way, we can consider each being as our only child”.

This is God’s view on the universe.
These are the arms that the Buddha, from his deepest nature, extends over the world.

All of us, each one of us, we are beloved child of the Buddha,
All of us, each one of us, we are the sons of God,

And any fragmented, segregationist of hierarchical discourse can never be part of the essential benevolence of reality.
